Tour of A.B.L.E.

On our field trip we toured the A.B.L.E offices and learned quite a bit about braille and the process of making braille books. A.B.L.E. is a non-profit organization that helps blind people live more independently. Below is one of their printers. JJ is checking out the printing process.




Below she is showing the kids how to type in Braille. This is a smaller, portable machine that puts the dots on paper.
