Boys, boys, boys

How hard could it possibly be to aim and hit an opening of 8 1/2 inches by 10 inches????

Really, I want to know how could they possibly hit the back wall, the floor, the sides of the toilet??? If it is that hard, could we not just sit down, please?

I had to vent - as I have now cleaned the bathroom twice in two days.

I see there are definite advantages to having girls:)--except yesterday a SIX yr old neighbor girl decided to go number 2--outside, in OUR yard (she lives across the street)??? wipe with leaves in OUR yard, and then proceed to play with my children and touch their stuff, and--you get the picture I'm NOT happy about this--oh, and apparently her mom is sick and she thinks she may have what her mom has--and her mom let her play in OUR yard with MY girls--thanks for lettiing me vent--I'm struggling with what to do with this one! Part of homeschooling means, we can avoid things like the roto virus:/ :D

Oh my. That is a good one. Plus because she is a neighbor you don't want to handle it incorrectly and have to put up with living so close to a family that has ill will for you. But seriously! #2 in the yard. Wow. What a mess! I would not be happy.

I do have a funny one about one of my own sons. I won't tell which one - but we camp alot. So one day I look outside in our yard and see said child peeing on the lawn in broad daylight. Thank God it was only #1 and not #2. Still, we live in the city and have neighbors very close. I was mortified.

I went out and asked what on earth was said child thinking!! He calmly told me - that when we go camping we do this.

Whoa, whoa. When we go camping during the day we walk to the bathrooms. Late at night when a small child has to go (only #1), we have had the child go behind the camper toward a tree and go. It is dark out - no one can see. And walking them all the way up to the house to go seems to just wake them up so much they don't settle down then.

So we had to have the conversation about what is done when camping in the woods late at night and in our yard in the city in broad daylight are two totally different things. :)

HAH - I am with you their sister.... Okay - so really could they just put the seat back down afterwards especially at night... Because there is nothing worse than at 2:00 a.m. when you go to sit and hit the water....

I actually have one child that loves to put both the seat and the lid down. It is just as startling to land on the lid in the middle of the night!
