What a difference a day makes!

Tom saw the physical therapist yesterday and she was fabulous. Plus she was honest and told him that she doubts he will be walking for at least a month. He was getting depressed because he was told by his doctor to start walking and he couldn't do it. And he didn't know what to do to get over the hurdle. The physical therapist is what he needed. He came back much happier and now feels like there is a plan - and healing is moving forward. Thank God!

She did say that he still has a lot of swelling on the foot but that he has incredible movement for a foot that swollen. He had been moving his foot around alot and that has helped. She was impressed with his flexibility. Now they have to work on breaking up the scare tissue and she worked on that yesterday. He did say that was painful (but necessary).

He will go to see her every week on Monday and Wednesday. Things are looking up!
