This was a great book but it is the first in a series of three. To be honest, the first one leaves you hanging - so if you are up to reading three books - then this is a good one to get.
The book is about an Amish family and their relationships with each other. The mother has a secret and finally can't live with it - she leaves but doesn't say where she is going or why. The family doesn't know if she is okay either. This causes the daughter to question her relationship with her fiance - she wonders if marriages are ever happy and if he is the one she should marry.
As I said it is a good book but will leave you hanging. At the end of the book some of the issues are resolved but the mother is not home yet. So on to book two - I start reading today! I will let you know how the other two books in the series are after I finish them.
